![]() ScummVM simply skips the movies it can't find. If it's a damaged data file, you may be able to figure out which one by temporarily moving each of these out of the way where ScummVM can't find them. I can't reproduce your problem (English version of the game, development version of ScummVM, running under Linux), but the following movie files are used: The Full Throttle intro is made up from several cutscene movies, and a few brief scene done by the standard game engine. In Full Throttle it's also used for the "INSANE" action scenes, where actors are drawn on a movie background. The error message is specific to the "SMUSH" cutscene movie player, so you wouldn't see it during normal game play. Not a big deal to some folks but I like to see the full game from start to end. ![]() I have found that if I skip the intro I'm able to play the game (how long I'm not sure, haven't played a long session yet) so it has something to do with the intro. I'm really not sure what to try at this point and would greatly appreciate any help as I did enjoy playing this game in the past.ĮRROR: (1:59:0X86): invalid seek request : -1939279336 > 13286732 (delta = -19414960) The CD is clean so I'm reasonably sure that the files are still intact on the CD. Here's what I've done so far:ġ) Tried to run the game directly from the CD (have the original) Result: Crash with same errorĢ) Tried running the game from the hard drive after copying the files from the CD. ![]() I'm fairly sure the files are good but I could be wrong on that. I have not compressed the files at all so I don't think that's the problem. I have used the search function and this seems to typically indicate either corrupt files or incorrectly compressed files. Full Throttle will keep crashing with the invalid seek request error during the intro at various different points. Ok folks I'm just about at wits end and I'm not sure what to try next.
